About Us
Fifty-five years of women who show up.
What began with seventeen charter members in 1971 is now one of West Pasco's most enduring charitable organizations.
Our History
Founded in February 1971
The Junior Service League of Greater New Port Richey was established in February 1971 to promote the standards of the national organization, education, and volunteer service throughout the Florida area. Founder and first President Mrs. Wayne L. Cobb led seventeen charter members into what would become a 55-year tradition of service.
The League adopted its first bylaws on February 4, 1971, and was incorporated under Florida law on September 18, 1972. Today, our members carry that same founding spirit into every scholarship awarded, every fundraiser hosted, and every volunteer hour given.
